In that role, he maintained overall accountability for strategic planning and forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, audit and general accounting, treasury, tax, and enterprise risk management—while also leading the professional development of high-performing finance teams.

Across his career, Steve has overseen the financial operations of a 1,500-person organization and has served as a primary point of communication for boards, investors, ratings agencies, regulators, banks, and critical business partners. His background blends disciplined operational execution with a corporate development mindset focused on building durable platforms and improving decision-making through strong financial controls and analytics.

Steve is currently a Managing Director with a Nashville-based consulting, management advisory, and CFO outsourcing firm, where he helps optimize, standardize, and drive profitability for commercial entities and federal contractors. He is known for pragmatic leadership, clear communication with stakeholders, and an unwavering focus on strengthening financial performance and organizational accountability.
