Dallas Owens serves as Director of Operations at Horizon Capital, where he focuses on sourcing opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and supporting the firm’s long-term growth initiatives. A Florida native, he has lived in Miami, Tallahassee, and now Tampa Bay, giving him strong regional insights and relationships across the state.

Dallas attended both Florida State University’s School of Business and the University of South Florida’s School of Business. Over his career, he has developed extensive experience in industries including manufacturing, distribution, real estate, hospitality, aviation, and regulated businesses. His professional roles have spanned owner/operator, full-time and fractional C-suite executive, outside consultant, and advisor on mergers and acquisitions.

He has successfully executed multiple capital raises totaling more than $10 million and is recognized for his disciplined, investor-focused approach to business building. Dallas attributes his success to a simple philosophy: respecting capital investors and always doing the right thing.

Known for his entrepreneurial drive, Dallas often says he has “never had a paycheck he didn’t create” — a reflection of his lifelong role as a leader, operator, and builder of businesses.
